Job Responsibilities

The Trolley Assistant is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and proper organization of airport luggage trolleys throughout designated airport terminals and operational areas.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

Collecting airport trolleys from arrival halls, departure halls, parking areas, transportation hubs, and terminal surroundings.

 

 

Returning collected trolleys to designated trolley stations and storage locations.

Ensuring trolleys are distributed evenly across passenger service areas.

Conducting routine inspections of trolleys to ensure cleanliness and usability.

 

 

Reporting damaged or defective trolleys to supervisors for maintenance and repair.

Maintaining organized trolley bays and designated storage zones.

Assisting in monitoring trolley inventory levels within assigned areas.

 

 

Supporting airport operations by ensuring sufficient trolley availability during peak travel periods.

Following operational schedules and assigned collection routes.

 

 

Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.

Adhering to airport safety regulations and workplace procedures at all times.

Maintaining a professional attitude when interacting with airport passengers and staff.

Assisting with special operational assignments when required by management.

 

 

Ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and free from obstructions.

Participating in team briefings and operational meetings.

Following all company policies and airport security regulations.

 

 

Daily Duties

A typical workday may include:

Beginning the shift with a team briefing.

Receiving assigned work zones and collection areas.

Inspecting trolley stations within designated terminals.

 

 

Collecting abandoned or misplaced trolleys.

Returning trolleys to high-demand passenger areas.

Monitoring trolley availability throughout the shift.

 

 

Reporting operational issues to supervisors.

Completing end-of-shift reports and handovers.

The work environment is active and requires employees to spend most of their shift walking and moving trolleys across various airport locations.

 

 

Working Environment
