Position Summary
The Night Shift Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout assigned work locations. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
You will ensure that all designated areas are cleaned according to company standards and health regulations while maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for building occupants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
The Night Shift Cleaner will be responsible for the following duties:
General Cleaning Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including:
Sweeping floors
Mopping floors
Vacuuming carpets
Dusting furniture and equipment
Cleaning glass surfaces
Wiping tables and workstations
Cleaning doors and windows
Emptying waste bins
Replacing trash liners
Restroom Cleaning
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in washrooms by:
Cleaning toilet bowls and urinals
Washing sinks and mirrors
Refilling soap dispensers
Refilling tissue paper and hand towels
Disinfecting high-touch surfaces
Removing waste materials
Ensuring restrooms remain sanitary and odor-free
Common Area Maintenance
Clean and maintain:
Building lobbies
Corridors
Staircases
Elevators
Waiting areas
Pantry areas
Break rooms
Meeting rooms
Reception areas
Waste Management
Collect waste from designated locations
Sort recyclable materials when required
Dispose of waste according to company procedures
Transport garbage to collection points
Maintain cleanliness around waste disposal areas
Floor Care
Operate floor cleaning equipment
Buff and polish floors when necessary
Remove stains and marks
Maintain floor appearance standards
Follow proper cleaning procedures for different flooring materials
Equipment Maintenance
Properly use cleaning tools and machinery
Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition
Report damaged equipment immediately
Store equipment safely after use
Safety Compliance
Follow workplace safety procedures
Use cleaning chemicals responsibly
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Report hazards and safety concerns
Follow emergency response procedures when required
Inventory Monitoring
Monitor cleaning supply levels
Refill cleaning materials when necessary
Report low stock levels
Assist with inventory control
Reporting Duties
Report maintenance issues
Report damaged property
Notify supervisors of safety hazards
Submit cleaning completion reports when required
Daily Work Environment
