Job Overview
The company is seeking hardworking and responsible individuals to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in public areas around the Clarke Quay district. Employees will be responsible for ensuring common spaces remain clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, visitors, and customers. Main Responsibilities
The Public Area Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned locations. Duties include but are not limited to:
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean public areas, corridors, walkways, and common spaces.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
Dust surfaces and remove dirt from furniture and fixtures.
Clean handrails, doors, mirrors, windows, and glass panels.
Remove stains and maintain cleanliness standards.
Ensure assigned areas are tidy throughout the day.
Waste Management
Empty trash bins and replace garbage bags.
Collect and dispose of waste properly according to procedures.
Separate recyclable materials when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness around waste disposal areas.
Report overflowing bins and unusual waste conditions.
Washroom Maintenance
Clean and sanitize public toilets.
Refill soap dispensers, tissue paper, and hand sanitizers.
Ensure washrooms remain hygienic and odor-free.
Clean sinks, mirrors, walls, and floors.
Inspect washroom facilities regularly.
Equipment Handling
Operate cleaning equipment safely.
Use mops, vacuum cleaners, brushes, and cleaning chemicals properly.
Maintain cleaning tools in good condition.
Store equipment according to safety regulations.
Safety Responsibilities
Follow workplace health and safety regulations.
Wear protective equipment when necessary.
Place warning signs during cleaning operations.
Report damaged facilities or hazards immediately.
Assist in maintaining a safe environment for the public.
Additional Duties
Support supervisors with special cleaning projects.
Participate in periodic deep-cleaning activities.
Cooperate with team members and management.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and professionally.
