Job Summary

School Cleaners are responsible for ensuring classrooms, offices, hallways, toilets, and common areas remain clean and hygienic. Employees are expected to perform cleaning duties according to established standards while maintaining safety procedures and providing support to create a comfortable learning environment.

Main Responsibilities

Successful applicants will perform the following duties:

Sweep and mop classroom floors.

Vacuum carpets and walkways.

Clean desks, chairs, tables, and cabinets.

Dust shelves, windows, and furniture.

Wipe and sanitize frequently touched surfaces.

Clean whiteboards and classroom equipment.

Empty rubbish bins and replace trash bags.

Dispose of waste properly according to regulations.

Maintain cleanliness of corridors and staircases.

Clean school offices and staff rooms.

Wash and sanitize restroom facilities.

Refill tissue paper, soap, and hand sanitizers.

Ensure toilets are hygienic and odor-free.

Clean mirrors and wash basins.

Perform high dusting duties when required.

Clean doors, glass panels, and windows.

Maintain cleanliness of canteen areas.

Mop common areas and entrances.

Assist during school events if necessary.
