Position Summary
The Security Officer and Senior Security Officer play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets.

 

 

Successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, controlling access, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment at assigned locations.

 

Security personnel serve as the first line of defense against unauthorized access, criminal activity, safety hazards, and emergency situations. Candidates must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, vigilance, and strong communication skills while performing their duties.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine security patrols throughout assigned premises.

 

Monitor and safeguard building entrances and exits.
Perform access control duties for visitors, contractors, residents, and staff.
Verify identification documents and visitor registrations.

 

Operate security equipment including CCTV monitoring systems.
Inspect security systems and report malfunctions.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches.

 

Provide assistance during emergency situations including fire alarms and evacuations.
Conduct crowd control when required.
Ensure compliance with site-specific security procedures.

 

Monitor loading and unloading activities.
Observe and report suspicious activities.
Protect company assets and client properties.
Perform security screening when necessary.
Assist management with investigations and incident documentation.

 

Coordinate with emergency services when required.
Submit accurate and timely incident reports.
Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders.

 

Provide customer service assistance to visitors and occupants.
Ensure workplace safety regulations are followed.
Support operational requirements assigned by supervisors.

 

Senior Security Officer Responsibilities
In addition to standard security duties, Senior Security Officers may be required to:
Lead and supervise security teams.
Coordinate shift operations.

 

Prepare operational reports.
Conduct security briefings.
Assist with manpower deployment.
Monitor officer performance

Handle complex security incidents.

Required Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

 

Minimum secondary school education preferred.
