Job Overview

The Hotel Cleaner plays an important role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort throughout hotel facilities. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards expected by international guests and hotel management.

 

 

No prior hotel experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates with previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, maintenance, or customer service experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Guest Room Cleaning

Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards.

Make beds and replace bed linens.

Change pillowcases, blankets, and towels.

Dust furniture, lamps, tables, shelves, and fixtures.

 

 

Vacuum carpets and rugs.

Sweep and mop hard flooring surfaces.

Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.

Remove trash and replace garbage bags.

Organize room amenities and guest supplies.

Ensure rooms are prepared for arriving guests.

 

 

Bathroom Cleaning

Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.

Replenish toiletries and bathroom supplies.

Polish fixtures and fittings.

Clean mirrors and glass partitions.

 

 

Maintain hygiene standards at all times.

Report plumbing issues or maintenance concerns.

Public Area Maintenance

Maintain cleanliness in hotel lobbies.

Clean elevators and lift areas.

 

 

Sanitize handrails and high-contact surfaces.

Clean corridors and hallways.

Maintain cleanliness of staff areas.

Assist with event room preparation when required.

Ensure all public areas remain presentable throughout shifts.

 

 

Laundry Support

Collect used linens and towels.

Sort laundry items according to procedures.

Deliver clean linens to designated locations.

Assist housekeeping supervisors when necessary.

Monitor inventory of linen supplies.

 

 

Safety and Compliance

Follow workplace health and safety regulations.

Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.

Wear required personal protective equipment.

Report accidents or safety hazards immediately.

Follow hotel operational guidelines.

 

 

Maintain confidentiality regarding hotel guests.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with housekeeping supervisors.

Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding repairs.

Assist colleagues during busy periods.

Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

Support overall hotel operations when required.

 

 

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Age between 24 and 50 years old.

Former overseas workers up to 58 years old may be considered.

Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.

Able to stand for extended periods.

 

 

Able to lift and move housekeeping equipment.

Positive working attitude.

Responsible and trustworthy.

Willing to learn and follow instructions.

Good communication skills.

Team-oriented mindset.

 

 

Flexible and adaptable to work schedules.

Experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
