SCHOOL CLEANER (SINGAPORE)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The School Cleaner position involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other school facilities. WORKING HOURS

The working hours are fixed and structured to ensure work-life balance. Depending on your assigned schedule, shifts may include:

Morning shifts before school starts

Day shifts during school hours

Exact working hours will be discussed during the interview and may vary slightly depending on the school’s operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a School Cleaner, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Cleaning classrooms, including desks, chairs, whiteboards, and floors

Sweeping and mopping hallways, corridors, and staircases

Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, railings, and switches

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

Emptying trash bins and handling proper waste disposal

Refilling supplies such as soap, tissue paper, and hand sanitizers

Maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as staff rooms and offices

Ensuring all cleaning tools and equipment are kept in good condition

Following safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals

Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors

You will be expected to perform your duties efficiently while maintaining high hygiene standards at all times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Age between 18 to 65 years old

No prior experience required as training will be provided

Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties

Disciplined, responsible, and punctual

Willing to learn and follow instructions

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Positive attitude and good work ethic

Able to communicate basic instructions in English

Candidates with previous cleaning experience in schools, offices, or similar environments will have an advantage, but it is not mandatory.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

All new employees will undergo structured training to ensure they are fully prepared for their responsibilities. Training will include:

Proper cleaning techniques and hygiene standards

Safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals

Operation of cleaning equipment

Workplace safety procedures

Understanding daily cleaning schedules
